It all started out with a bunch of friends ... “ just playing some good fun rock’n’roll music ” ...

 

Always looking for a new horizon, Joshua, with his authentic, powerful, raw, versatile voice and writing skills, started working with a lot of local musicians. It opened the doors to the freelance and studio scene ...

 

In the mid '90's he met Daniel Climan, a well respected vocal coach that later on became a good friend and mentor. "His coaching made me the singer I am today".

 

A few years later, with a full bag of experience Joshua had the opportunity to work with a lot of prime musicians from bands like Soulsister, Arno, De Kreuners, Guido Belcanto, Helmut Lotti, Rob De Nijs, Marco Borsato, Ilse De Lange, Anouk, John Miles, 

Alan Parsons, Tina Turner, Roy Orbison ... to name but a few.

 

While performing Joshua is always in good company.

Over the last few years you may have seen him with  Alain Smits, Bart Buls, David Ronaldo, Jamie Breeze and Kirri Valvekens.

Beside the singing and writing of songs Joshua also launched some projects. 

For instance the animal welfare project A.R.M. (Animal rights music). This led to the organisation of a few events, with the respectful cooperation of actor Pol Goossen, to support animal welfare organisations such as Gaia and Sea Shepherd ...

A.R.M also resulted in the creation of the cd   “ Through these eyes ”.

WPR (Words, Paint & Rock 'n Roll) is another project that Joshua is really proud of. 

An artistic co-operation between author Wim Urgel, painter Anton Martens and singer/composer Joshua Vercammen “ with a little help from his musical friends “. 

 

Joshua also appeared ( vocals/lyrics ) on Dj Mr E’s cd single “ Days “. This gave him a little taste of Tomorrowland.

 

New solo material with producer  & “partner in crime” Roel De Ruyter (Studio Pump it up) will soon be released.
